RadAir is a composite word that stands for "Rick Adams Bel Air". RadAir will have many high tech and unique features which include the following: • 502/502 HP Chevy Big Block Power Plant • Tremac 5 Speed Manual Transmission • Heidt Independent Rear Suspension with Coilover Shocks • Heidt Front Suspension with Lowered Spindles and Coilover Shocks • Rack and Pinion Steering • Headers with Custom Exhaust. • Custom RadAir Inc. Air Box and Air Filters • Electric Power Brakes • Wilwood Disc Brakes • Ididit Steering Column • Boyd Coddington Smoothie Wheels • Tubbed Rear End • Custom Paint by Ron Hall of RadAir Inc. • Custom Interior by Premier Upholstery • Navigation Center RadAir should be done in the spring of 2010. Shown below are pictures of the build in progress. Installing painted Heidt IRS system with Coilover shocks and in board disk break systems. Von Dutch Flying eyeball and pinstriping by Ron Hall. Stock frame modified for Rack and Pinion steering and Big Block engine mounts. 502 Big Block being installed into frame. Heidt front suspension with lowered spindles and Coilover shocks. Stock frame was cleaned up with excess holes filled, smoothed with body filler and custom painted with pinstriping by Ron Hall. Rear light openings in fenders were reworked for a perfect fit of lights. Very common problem on 56 Chevs. 1956 Chevy Bel Air - Body on rotisserie being soda blasted and stock chrome holes being filled Initial fit of doors and trunk. Final fit to be done when body is on frame. Firewall was smoothed out and excess holes welded shut.. RadAir, Inc.
